הנה מידע על תחבורה אל אזור האיים של הונדורס.

Hey. Here is some information about trasportation to the bay islands, Honduras. Coming from Belize, the easiest way would be crossing the borded from Peurto Barrios to Puerto Cortez (30 minutes ferry ride – about 3 us $). Puerto Cortez to Tela, than La Ceiba, or to San Pedro Sula than Ceiba.

Coming from Guatemala either via Poerto Barrios, or better yet via Copan, than to San Pedro Sula and La Ceiba. From Nicaragua- best way is a direct Tica Bus to Tegusigalpa that goes to San Pedro Sula or stop there and go straight to La Ceiba.  Here’s some information I gathered for buses from all over Guatemala and Honduras. bus company-Empresa Hedman Aldas offices:

Copan- termainal the buses- 651-5106.

The buses Are leaving at these hours:
from san pedro sula to La Ceiba:
6am, 10am, 2pm, 6pm
from copan to san pedro sula,then La ceiba
5:15am, 10:30 am and 2:30pm (only weekends):

from antigua leaves daily 4am, passes gueatemala city at 5am than to san pedro sula via copan.
From Tela to San Pedro Sula- 7am, 12:45pm, 5:30pm, and to La Ceiba 7:30, 11:45, 1:30pm

Other companies:
Viana clase oro- leaves san pedro to ceiba 6:30am and 1:30pm
El Rey:
leaves Copan to san pedro sula 6am, 8pm, 1pm
Trans. Gama:
Copan to sps 6am and 3pm.

Tela to San pedro sula: ( Tela Express)
Monday, Thursday- 7, 8 10:30, 1:30, and 4pm.
Saturday: 8, 9:30, 11, 1, 2:30,3:30,4:30
Sunday: 7:30, 10:30, 1:30,2:45,4 and 5pm

antigua to copan normally takes about 5 hours, suppose to make it to the 10am bus if the ride is ok, i suggest to get a proper bus and not some chicken bus that`ll make a huge difference.
I think copan to sps takes about 3 hours, and sps to ceiba about the same.

coming from the south:
Tegusigalpa to san pedro sula – Tica Bus: Bo. Villa Adela 5y6 ave, 16 calle tel 2200590 Also goes to nicaragua, panama and costa rica. Tegusigalpa to La Ceiba- bul. Fuerzas armadas, entrada a colonia tiloarque tel 220-0117/1555
5:30, 9:30,11:00,12:30,15:30

The ferry schedule to Utila:
9:30am, and 4pm
ride takes about an hour.
